Inbox

The inbox filters large amounts of auto-discovered data, ensuring that only important data lands in the catalogs and VSM insights remain clutter-free. To achieve this, all data discovered by VSM or pushed to it through the REST API lands first in the inbox by default. It is either accepted into the catalogs (mapped) or rejected (ignored).

In the inbox, data can also be filtered by a specific source, for example, to only look at the data coming from the GitHub integration, as seen below. Entries can either be mapped one by one or at scale.
